ERP Kit
ERP Kit (@tailor-erp/kit) is a toolkit for building a custom ERP on Tailor Platform. It provides the parts most ERPs share as ready-made modules, so your team can spend its time on the business rules that are specific to you.
ERP Kit is built on the Tailor SDK for the backend and AppShell for the frontend. Everything it generates is ordinary TypeScript in your own repository.
Access
ERP Kit is distributed through Tailor's private package registry and requires a contract with Tailor. Contact us to get access.
What's in the kit
| Part | What it gives you |
|---|---|
| Modules | Business functions such as sales, purchasing, inventory, shipping, manufacturing, and accounting, each with its own tables, commands, and queries. |
| App templates | Working apps with a backend, a frontend, and docs, copied into your project as a starting point. |
| Agent skills | Instructions that coding agents such as Claude Code follow to document, implement, review, deploy, and upgrade your app. |
| Spec verification | Schemas and checks that confirm your docs and code still agree, run by the erp-kit CLI. |
| CI | Generated GitHub Actions workflows for deploying on merge and testing each pull request in its own preview workspace. |
| Mock server | Mockoon-based mock APIs for testing integrations without calling the real services. |
Modules
Modules hold the ERP logic: sales, purchasing, inventory, shipping, manufacturing, accounting, workforce, and the shared approval and notification functions. An app composes the modules it needs and calls their commands from its own resolvers. See Capabilities for the full list.
App templates
erp-kit app init copies one of these templates into apps/<app>/:
| Template | Contents |
|---|---|
user-management | Users, roles, and permissions with sign-in already wired up. The usual starting point for a new app. |
erp | A procurement and inventory ERP: purchase orders, inbound and outbound shipments, stock levels, costing, and tax. |
After the copy, the app is yours. Later ERP Kit releases do not change it automatically; see Update packages for how to bring template changes in.
Agent skills
erp-kit init installs skills into .agents/skills/ and links them to .claude/skills/. The main ones:
| Skill | Use it to |
|---|---|
erp-kit-app-impl | Build or extend a feature: wire modules, write resolvers, connect screens, add tests. |
erp-kit-app-docs | Record a feature as actor, business flow, story, screen, and resolver docs. |
erp-kit-deploy-guide | Deploy an app to a workspace, with explanations if you want them. |
erp-kit-setup-ci | Generate the deploy and preview workflows and set their secrets. |
erp-kit-update-advisor | Check what an ERP Kit upgrade changes in your app before you upgrade. |
